Exam Part 2

This article is basically to inform people about new technology that will prevent all student from cheating and show what they really know when they are taking exams by keeping them under surveillance and cutting off access to study material. I think this is a bad idea because students may not be able to remember what they have learned in school. Many children study hard before finals and once they see the question they forget. Also because this technology prevents students from using websites that may be forbidden in school. Even though this new ipad technology may be effective I believe there will be another way for students to cheat. I think so because with all the technology out today, the ipad might not be able to prevent other websites student can use. There for I think they are wasting there time.

Enterprises

So far the biggest challenge I have attempted in my life was.....I can't think of one. Maybe I would say receiving the holy ghost because you have to stop doing many UN-godly things. I learned that the saying "you can do anything you put your mind to" is true because I never thought i could receive it until I began to only focus on that one topic in my life.

Products

Personally I don't have to decide on the products that I purchase and use because mos of them I don' buy and if I do buy it my parents use it on me so I don't read bout it. If my mom or aunt use it and I try it and have no b ad effect I will continue to use it. so therefor it doesn't effect my life.

Technological

My life would be different cause I would actually feel like a handy cap no offense to the mental patience but I would die trying to cook every meal with out the microwave and no toaster. Also I don't know what would happen to my social life because i love to text and talk on the phone with my friends and family. We would have to walk every and it will basically be a disaster i would probably try to invent everything back to earth.

Innovation

Some future technology i would create is a device to find your keys. The reason i ill create this is  because i always loose my keys and my aunt hates it.

Invention

How do you think the KOR-fx will effect the video game, music or movie experience?    I don't know the answer to this question so this is officially a open discussion. Someone please help meh with what this is talking about. Thank you.

School Safety

I think personal rights and school safety is equal. The reason i say so is because you cant put your rights over your safety. Your personal rights are effected when school safety measures are implemented because the principals and other staff members try to tell the children that they can not do many things which isn't far to us because we do have rights.

Cost of Ownership/Messages

The importance of the price when purchasing electronics is that you need to know the price especially in a recession like this. Other things that may be important is the effects.

Specs/Variables

Yes I think that the specifications of a product should be the only criteria you use when making a purchase because that's what helps you to know if a product is good or not. If you go and look for how many people buy a product it will be pointless because not everyone try new things.

Netiquette Guidelines

               When using the internet it important to follow the netiquette guidelines because it tells you what and what not to do. If you are on the internet and you don't follow the guidelines you can get into serious trouble. Netiquette guidelines keeps you and those around you in a safe zone.One of the biggest problem is people using the internet for the wrong reasons. There are people that dont like i=to get on the internet because of those people who use the inernet for the wrong reasons.
              Netiquette guidelines protect you from cyber bulling, verbally abusing and other harsh things that go on when using the internet. Situations and acts like these is why most people do not fell safe on the computer. It protects you from hackers who can find out your security pins, credit card information,social security number and any other personal information that is not meant for anyone to see. If we all follow internet netiquette guidelines it can mak the chances of these things less likely.

Worksheet/Computer Networks

Some people rate different things on a different rubric chart. Some people only look for the goodness of the tings but others may test it on different things to make sure that product deserves a perfect score. For example if there was a new perm found some people might just read the chemicals and things and just say "yes this is a good perm for hair" but how do they know that if they haven't tested it out?

Consumer/Iteration

The importance of product reviews is for the prices. When buying something you compare the prices to see which will be a better pick. I think its a good idea to have consumers write reviews online because it help people to know what kind of effects a certain product will have on them.

Product Comparisions/Sequence

I think it is important to compare similar products before you make a purchase because when you compare you can find a great difference as in price or amount. t is easy when you rad directions and find differences that can help you and your budget.

Deadline / Boolean

The one thing that I definitely like about my project is the music. One thing i would do different on my project the the theme that i used for it.

ICT 1 Benchmark Exam 1

                I personally have a mixed opinion of what the father said, many things that he said is true and is needed to be said but honestly i have to disagree at one point. The point i speak about is  when he says "In schools, I can see why additional connectivity to the web would be beneficial as long as they're using that resource for the right reasons and not Facebook". I wouldn't say that the children shouldn't be able to access face book because i know that once I'm done with my work if I'm bored that would be the first thing I do.
                I am for the smart phones because of many reasons especially concerning the school students. Some things about the school students is many of them lack extremely in penmanship. Either hey write to small or just sloppy period. This is unfair to the teachers but its also unfair to the students because the teachers try to make them re-write it. If we just text everything and sent it threw our emails it would be 1000 times easier.These teachers dont reall deserve to have to try to kill teir eye site just to try and read a paper.
                 Whatever way you take it, reality is many of the children in high schools will have a face book its not like the schools can keep us away from it. Personally from what I know there are MANY sites that can allow the children to access face book threw the schools blocking. So as you can see I'm for the smart phones because it is a very good idea I mean technology is not going to stop progressing so we should we stay with 2005 computers and pencils,pens and papers? We should use smart phones because ts a smart decision.

Digital Citizenship

I think that video games teach morality and ethics because if your playing grand theft auto when you kill the citizens the cops begin to chace you. Even though that's what the game is about its telling you that its wrong because the cops are only supposed to chase after you if you do the wrong thing.

Timing / Progamming

it is very important to make sure that there is enough time to read the words and look at the images of your slide slow because you have to make sure it is best for the readers and viewers. They have t be able to understand it especially if you want a good grade.

Enhanced Podcast/Stage

Im honestly not sure what either of them are but maybe the difference is that one can have any music and any amount of things to show and a slide show has a certain amount. Someone leave comments i need help.

Multimedia/Coordinates

The sound track effects the  effectiveness of a movie or podcast because it will catch the audiences attention. Everyone loves music they can rove to...right?

Fade/Sprites

You can use both visual and audio fade effects to enhance your projects because it catches the viewers attention. It is very nice to watch a slide shoe presentation when you are not being bored to death. Everyone like music that can catch them by a beat and even some pictures that help them to understand the text better. It will give you a higher score especially if your audience is impressed. Just remember not to use the wrong pictures in the wrong slide.

What is plagirism?

It may effect you because now everyone will kw you as a liar and cheater. Why would you want everyone i your school to know you as the person no one trusts? That's a very stupid decision and this teaches me the dangers of plagiarism.

Plagiarism and Morality

I think that plagiarism is morally wrong because it is taking the credit for other peoples words. If you want good credit make up your own things.

Import//Export

Importing and exporting goods are different because importing goods is when you bring things in it doesn't have to necessarily consist of food. Exporting is when you are taking things out to other places. They are similar because they both consist of trading.

Timing/Programing

It is very important to make sure that there is enough time to read the words ad look at the images on your slide show so that everything is correct. There is no point in rushing it because if you do it will be a mess. you have to make sure that the words are correct and not misspelled. 

Animations/Firewalls

You can use Slide Animations to help the viewers of a slide show by using graffics and pictures relivant to your topic. For example if your doing a slide on I pods don't include a cell phone its better if you use music because it can be displayed on a i pod.

Design Templates

I think that it is OK to use many design templates because when you doing a presentation you want to grasp the crowds attention. You should not have a boring slide to the point that every one is sleeping. However you should not always do so because not every one likes when you are using 500 different colors and themes...you have to know your limit.

Bullet Points

Bullet points are used more than sentences in a presentation because they look more neat. If you ave many sentences it look really sloppy and mixed up. By using bullet points you make your presentation look more neat.

Listen Carefully

I think it is very important to listen when some one is talking to you because they may be telling you something very important. f they are talking about nothing that has relevance to you then it wouldn't matter if you just ignore them. However if they are telling you something of use you should pay attention. If i'm trying to speak and some continues to interrupt me I just stop talking and do something else and if they ask me to finish telling them i say no and go about my business.

Plagiarism and Copyrights Plagiarism and Copyrights

Plagiarism and Copyrights are very similar however one is illegal and the other is legal. Plagiarism is illegal because you are using someone else information. You are trying to get credit for someone elses work. Copyrights however is legal because when you use the persons information you are telling the person who is reading it that you copied and pasted some ones work by telling the editor page number publisher and place published in. This helps you to keep out of trouble with the law because you make copy and pasting things legal.

Ipad

The reason that the ipad sold out so quickly is because it ois a small computr at you can carry around easier than the laptops. If you can get a touch screen oputer for 400+ dollars why wouldn't you get it at your first chance??? Im sure everyone will be wanting this computer as long as its touch don't break.

Game Benifits

The benefits of using games in the classroom is he student may learn more.  The negatives i the students may just listen music and things that are irrelevant to the subject.

Mobile Learning

No i can't learn more using mobile games because if i nee help there's no one to help me. I wouldn't recommend this for campus high school. Im sure the only thing most of the children would do is use Google for the answer's...at least i would.

Technology

Both because people can make different kinds of technology from fat back tv's to plasmas. Technology can change people by making them do every thing with technology.

Jogger killed by plane

Yes i do think this could of been avoided by him not listening to his i pod. However i don't think this was is fault;no one is going to think if they go down the street or where ever to exercise or to relax while listening to music that their going to get killed. It isn't the jogger nor the pilots fault no one knew that was going to happen and stuff like this happens. When in class or walking threw the hall ways i think its OK to listen to your music but if you can't hear anything at all but the song you need to turn it down. You have t be aware of your surroundings.

Computers Preferences

It would be a I-phone because they are fun to use and play apps on, as long as there is strong connections.

Tags are helpful because you can add names so people know who's who and who's doing what.

Fact vs Opinion

The only way i know of telling if information is true is by the way it is phrased. For example if say football is boring that is an opinion only if i can provide research showing that this certain statement is true.

Credible Information

The only way that i know you can tell if information on the internet is credible is if you can not change the ways people have written the information. In other words if you can change it don't trust it because 9 times out of 10 it will be wrong.

Projuct on ettiquets

Smart phones and computer conclusions

Yes children should be allowed to use their phones in school because you never know when there will be an emergency. Cell phones could be used to enhance learning in the class rooms by helping to use the internet to see class work especially when these computers don't have good service.

Publishing

I think the reason we published our project online was to be able to show what we have done in a fast and orderly way. Publishing our  projects were relevant because the teacher don't have to waste time to check them off each persons computer. No i don't think it is a form of collaboration.

Feb.5-Class procedures

I think technology will be very important in the future because technology can do anything as long as they work on it so we may need more lab tops and electronics while in school.

Feb.4-Learning responsibility

I think my responsibility for my learning and education will be different because I'm not a kid anymore i have to buckle down and be prepared to work hard each day to make my future better. The teachers responsibilities will remain the same because all they need to do id help me learn and understand.

Feb.1.10-representing excellence

In this class to achieve excellence i will do all my work on time and be prepared fora day of working each day. I will represent myself with the ways my parents teach me to act. Im not sure what ICT is yet but i will learn the importance of it.

I think the reason that we follow the other classmate blogs is to act like were on twitter; or maybe its because if we need an example to help us with the work we can look at other peoples blogs.

What Makes A Good Password?

A good password is something no one can guess and if they keep trying to guess they'll get locked out of your electronic device. If a hacker tries to guess your password the first guess might be 1234,0000 or anything in that category. The object of making a good password is using something that you know no one will guess. Try making it a college you want to go to but put it backward or something exspecially if a lot of people know what college it is. Give them a run for it because you shouldn't want a hacker in your business and wasting your well spent money. So remember to use a strong password when making it.
